Deaf Awareness Training in schools

Mainstream schools need extra support to ensure that they know how to meet the particular needs of pupils with hearing loss.  

JDA provides Deaf Awareness Training and ongoing support as and when needed to mainstream schools that have Jewish deaf pupils. 

The purpose of the formal training is to enable staff to understand how having a hearing loss affects their pupils practically and emotionally, and will provide those participating with the tools to improve communication, inclusion and access to resources for pupils with hearing loss.
