Self - Made billionaire Thomas Crown is bored of being able to buy everything he desires. Therefore he has a strange hobby he steals valuable art. Catherine Banning is brought in to investigate a Monet painting stolen from a museum. Unfortunately, Catherine gets involved too deeply with Thomas to keep a professional distance.
