Deaf Awareness Training in the Jewish Community
JDA’s Hearing Matters in Our Community service offers expert training, guidance and support to Jewish communal organisations, synagogues and more. The training will help your management, staff and volunteers to understand:
- The experience of hearing loss
- Good communication
- Using equipment effectively
- Ways of making your organisation more welcoming and your services more accessible to people with hearing loss
Deaf Awareness Training in schools
JDA provides Deaf Awareness Training and ongoing support to mainstream schools so that they know how to meet the particular needs of Jewish deaf pupils.
Our expert training enables staff to understand how having a hearing loss affects their pupils practically and emotionally and provides those participating with the tools to improve communication, inclusion and access to resources for pupils with hearing loss.

Deaf Awareness Training in residential homes
Engage’s expert team can work with you to upskill your team to understand and meet the needs of people living with hearing loss.
