Leave a gift in your will

Every year, our dedicated staff and volunteers help over 2,500 people affected by deafness. Without gifts in Wills, we simply couldn’t reach everyone who relies on our specialist support, especially as we receive no government funding.

By leaving a gift to JDA in your Will, you can make a lasting difference:

• Deliver daily care and support to deafblind individuals living among us.
• Keep offering lifelong love and support to the most vulnerable in our community
• Provide transport and delicious, kosher meals for isolated older people at our lively Day Centre
• Ensure older people in care homes stay connected and enjoy fulfilling later years
• Free expert training for care home management, staff, and volunteers to improve understanding, communication, and accessibility for people with hearing loss
• Support Jewish parents navigating the challenges of a deaf child
• Help deaf children thrive at home and school

Many supporters choose to leave a legacy because they want their memory to be associated with our caring work. Making or updating your Will is straightforward and can be arranged easily. Plus, gifts to charity are inheritance tax-free, meaning your generosity could also reduce the tax payable on your estate.

We can provide a simple form to help you assign a pecuniary or residuary bequest to JDA, which can be included in your Will or added as a codicil to an existing one.
