Talk Sam Arnold: “My Career as a Deaf Film Maker”

Sam Arnold will give a talk about his exciting career
Sam went to Mary Hare School and trained as a furniture designer. Later, he decided to follow his lifelong dream for film-making
He works in directing, writing and producing films, documentaries and commercials for Deaf and hearing audiences
He produced a film called Name Me Lawand about a young Deaf migrant boy. The film was nominated for both an Emmy (American TV awards) and a Grierson Award (for British Documentaries)
Sam will share his journey, challenges and what life is like behind the camera
